Big thanks to everyone who visited and displayed their car, and everyone who took part in the Show & Shine competition at Astwood Bank Carnival & Car Show 2022.

What's on

Show & Shine

Pyramid Car Care will be hosting a show and shine competition, with prizes, rosettes and certificates for winners with the cleanest cars on display including 1st, 2nd, 3rd and a special boobie prize.

Car Show

Welcoming Cars, Bike, Tractors and everything in between including Classic, Modern, Custom, Sports and Super Cars.

Live music

Back by popular demand, local folk/rock band Wychwood and solo singer Breese Woolley will be performing in the beer tent.

Carnival

Carnival procession featuring Carnival royalty who will lead a succession of floats, bands and walking groups honouring all things British to the carnival showground at Sandhills Farm.

Entertainment

There will be activities for families throughout the day including crazy golf, circus skills, face painting, pony rides, fairground attractions, a traditional dog show with categories including waggiest tail, cutest pup and best veteran, and falconry displays.

Food & Drink

Coffee and Cake, Bhajis and Burgers and lots more, as well as the return of the very popular Pimms and beer tents provided by The Why Not Inn.

Show & Shine Competition

Congratulations to the winners of our Show & Shine competition 2022

Thank you you everyone who entered the Show & Shine competition, at Astwood Bank Carnival & Car Show 2022. We had 5 winners in 2022, as follows:

First place – Steve with his hot rod Ford Popular

Second place – James with his Paul Smith Mini

Third place – Spencer with his Ford Focus RS

There was originally one “People’s choice award” which was given to the owner of the TRIUMPH 1500 TC. We also picked a second winner of the “People’s Choice Award”, for the owner of the Saab 900.

All winners took home prizes from our sponsors Pyramid Car Care as well as Rosette’s for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place.
